16 And three hundred shields of beaten gold: three hundred [a]shekels of gold went to one shield, and the king put them in the house of the wood of Lebanon.

17 And the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 And the throne had six steps, with a footstool of gold [b]fastened to the throne, and stays on either side on the place of the seats, and two lions standing by the [c]stays.
